Rooted in Nepal

Arizona Newah Organization is a community-driven nonprofit connecting Newah people and culture enthusiasts across the Grand Canyon State.

The Newah (Newar) people are the indigenous inhabitants of the Kathmandu Valley — a civilization with over 2,000 years of history, a unique script (Ranjana/Prachalit), distinct festivals, classical music, tantric art, and unparalleled cuisine. We carry this torch proudly into the American Southwest.
